Description A combination of a photographic and a digital images. The 'veins' in the 'rock' are derived from tree branches and the background is a kaleidographic treatment of random digital 'noise' that shows up on the monitor screen when image processing software is pushed beyond the computer's ability to compute. It reminded me of the unversal 'background radiation' left over from the Big Bang
Paul Wyszkowski, Port Chester NY Member Since December 2006 Artist Statement I was born in Poland, before WWII and arrived on these shores in 1948 (it's a long story). After I paid my dues to the society as a materials engineer I went back to my first love - discovering and inventing images.
I am one of those people who are in love with the world. Yes, the world is challenging and even dangerous but I don't believe it's out to get me. And while some may dispute the intelligence of its design, its artistry is beyond question. I am here not to conquer it but to enjoy it and to share my wonder with you through my art. My intention is to delight your eye while providing a playground for your mind. Enjoy!
